just read from her post that passing DE mid-20s is kinda scarly... Totally Agree!!! that's why this year i didnt really celebrate much, except for the usual cake-cutting with my dear bro for the past 13 yrs (yes, he's another reason to remind me that i am growing old while he turns from a baby boy to a teenage now, boo!)... in fact when i recall back about half a year back, it was kinda depressing in fact... it's like a qtr of your life has officially past, so what's on the report card (career-wise, financially, love life, family, personal growth...etc) ?
However, much being said about passing the mid-20s, my scary age is actually 28, though i know after that it will definately be the big 3-zero...duh! imagine every criterias that i stated above to measure how much i have achieved is still neither here nor there when i am 28...Absolutely a Nightmare!
Anyway, back to FIONA! We went karaoke again this year... on the 17th July, few days before the actual day...

End Note:
was tiring tiring... coz we again went on a work day and the next day is also a work day... but luckily for me, the 2 interviews that i sup to have on that day was postponed and rescheduled last minute, so i could join the gals right from the start...
was telling fiona the next day we shd try get together more often to chill..instead of having to wait for someone's bdae... keke
Anyway, hope that what i asked you to wish on that day come true for everyone ya!!! pay rise and bonus alot alot.. and promotions too! hee!
and on top of that, i am just praying for everyone that aside from all these monetory and material stuff, deep down inside, we'll all be really happy and contented and all those horrible feelings we get every now and then will all go away and be far from us!
(btw, fiona, can i borrow the book from you to take a look...the one u mentioned in ur much earlier post, i think?)
Some "Funnies" during the session:
- few gals were not aware that there were 2 couples present instead of just 1... so when they found out, it was quite funny, and the "interview" sessions were held there instead... haha
- J & J spent 20 bucks on just light snacks for dinner and they were eating thru out non stop lor... how come can eat so much and still so slim... *jealous*
- someone pressed the "clap" button (and also the adjusting of pitch/tone) again in middle of a song, and before that, i was just suan-ing the bdae gal about it coz she did that last yr during her bdae also
- bdae gal version of "爱过来" when me and Jeanie want sing "爱来过"
- baby and J version of "千里之外"... actually is baby being funny, impersonating his fav fei yu qing.. J was just the victim being forced to sing some song again... hee
- baby's impersonation of someone else's singing.. which wsas quite hilarious actually
Randoms:
past week has been hectic as usual, but work wise, i am getting more in control and a better grip on myself on what's really happening... but cant say the same for some things else... i just hope i can learn to not always "zuan niu jiao jian" and end up magnifying the problem when looking and analysing things in such detailed manner that i forgot the goodness in it.

Haha don't remind me of "report card" cos i think mine has not been too good but let's all believe that as we grow older we will get wiser with age as well and also be contented with what we have in life. :)
