Pretty Flowery Dreams 26 Jul 08

This post is wa...y too over due. the pictures were taken at the Singapore Garden Festival at Suntec about a month ago. i had them in my camera for like one whole month before i transfered the pictures onto my notebook... but i remember the date as i was working that saturday and then it was Audrey's house warming... so after going to her love nest after work, we headed back to city area for this event. Shall let the pictures do the talking as i am really getting lazier while becoming more hardworking... ha~

the landscapings exhibits were the nicest...

(i think i look ghostly in all these pictures... must be the flash light...tsk tsk tsk)

He wanted to capture me glazing at the statue... but before he could do that, i got distracted and was looking elsewhere... i think i am looking at her bag... heh

This was on a vertical platform and is super tall...stretches way up to near the ceiling of the convention hall and is made up of bunches of plants

i find these pictures very artistic.

i dont know why but i just like this alot

my favourite landscape amongst the whole lot of them. this was made to look like an underwater plants and flowers scaping...

the designer/creator had bubbles rising from the "seabed" and at the top "ceiling" was water in between the glass panel and coupled with the effect of lighting, thus make it seem as though it was underwater

the only picture of him smiling. thus i decided not to post the rest as it doesnt go with the pretty flowers. (come to think of it, i dont seem to smile "happily" too in all the pictures)

i love the hues of colours...especially the purple ones...

i love the shade of purple of this flower but somehow the camera doesnt seem to capture the true colour of it. it looks somewhat much more bluish as compared to the real thing

Coffee Nations - 25 Aug 08

The Coffee Nations

this cosy 2- storey cafe is located near Golden Landmark Hotel (near Bugis MRT) different areas of the cafe (2nd storey)

another area of the cafe at 2nd level. proper dining chairs and tables as well as sofas are available.


We chose another cosy corner instead. This area is tucked away in another part of the cafe where there is only a low table with no chairs at all. we were sitted on a "raise" platform with cushions thrown around for a more relax atmosphere.

the 2 girls are holding on to the cushions all the time. reason being - they both had skirts on...


Our Food.


My meatball sandwich (the bread is toasted nicely...) with wedges
strawberry cheese cake
chocolate cake

among all these, we had 2 servings of chicken wings to share. the spicy ones are, well... very spicy but it taste delicious.


Of coz, as the name suggestion, this place's specialities are of coz their coffee... they had different "favours from around the world"


i only had mocha frape though as it was late and i am afraid the caffaine effect will be too much thereafter.


Maybe next time, we should meet up for afternoon coffee to chill while trying their coffee from different nations...

i need TLC... more quality rest... less hectic life...

when is all these ever going to end? or maybe before it does, i'll be burried alife by work and stress...

Maybe sometimes in life, the easier way would be to learn how to let go...

a price paid, a lesson learnt.
