Now the couple are off to Europe for their honeymoon *envy*. Audrey actually took like 1 whole month unpaid leave to go Europe for 3 weeks can...while we slogging in office...



when we were walking out to shake hands with the couple, i told Audrey, no need get me any souveniar from Europe le...an LV or Gucci item will do. Hearin this, Adrian immediately want pull me aside liao... and kept saying "no we are not going there..." haha... dunno the "No" is directed at not buying me anything from there or discouraging his wife from going to the boutiques herself... heheh.. anyway, i am sure they will have a superb time there... (like who wouldnt?)




i am going to miss her alot liao...coz apart from being my favourite colleague in office (it's hard to have a favourite there ok) and my lunch time khaki who loves LJS as much as i do, also no one whom i can share gossips le... til she is back... will wait patiently... haha




think when she's back, i will go pester her to send me photos taken by her photographer and mayb pop by her place to slowly see her album & honeymoon pics... (she told me really lots of funny stories when they have their album pics taken..i will really like to see the pics and know what went on behind the scenes...heh)

okay, skip Audrey's wedding post for now... coz i am so happy i got my first (and only) snow skin moon cake for this yr (samplings at fairs don't count)



I love Snow Skin mooncakes but this yr didnt get any... til TODAY! and the festival is long over.

baby sms say he gg for supper =( i am hungry lar so went search fridge...and found this. She say i can only have half...but good enuff.am contented =)

Just nice as i was craving for ice cream the whole day le. baby say bring me for ice cream today but due to unforeseen (and silly) circumstances, didnt get to have any.

The ice cream is good.. but frankly, the snow skin is so-so only. i know coz my last bite was without any ice cream so could taste the snow skin plainly. so i guess their selling point is really... their ice cream... the snow skin mooncakes i had last yr was way much nicer... but, i am not complaining much for now. at least i get to eat it =)

but why must they sell mooncakes so expensively? If not i would gladly get many. vendors gave me few boxes but they were the usual baked kinds which i dont really fancy.... so just left them at the common areas for colleagues consumption...

okay, Audrey's wedding photos will REALLY be next... HEH

25 Sep 08 - Shopping!

is the isetan private sale once again and it translate to: "time for me to do stock ups"

drama mama on the leave part though....

applied for leave like 2 weeks back coz just wanted some "me" time. ended up it became a half day thingy coz i had to come back for a meeting in the morning... fine.. at least still have the whole afternoon, right? just one day before, i remembered there was another meeting scheduled in the afternoon, but thought i could siam from it. ended up, boss say is gd for me to go...bleh... so that day become another ordinary busy work day =(

ok, not all are from the isetan private sale. some bought the week before at the metro members sales instead :p and TBS items were of coz neither metro, nor isetan. from Rin's bday mth discount...wahaha

Chocolate Factory - 20 Sep 08

Metro is having store wide 20% sale!!!


and although i am going for Isetan's next week, still, there are items i can get first at 20% right? hee...


didnt buy much though coz i know i am going to spend liao next week and also coz this month i am made extremely broke as mentioned few entries back. only bought Shu cleansing oil as well as eyelash falsies glue... helped Wendy buy her clinique stuff too as i happily told her this morning "metro got sale, anything u want buy?" haha, spend money also muz drag ppl with me...she wanted get something frm Lancome too so gave me the description...but when i went there, the person told me this is not even available in spore... :s


after that went robertson quay area... many eateries there lor... last time when i frequent that place, it was not like that one... haha... there were many many jap restuarants though... we went to try one (forgot to take note of name as i was starving).. bento was quite reasonably priced as there were alot of food...

there after, headed to "Laurent Bernard Chocolate Bar" formally known as "chocolate factory". been wanting to visit the place long time ago before they even change their name... but only managed to get to it now...

really sinful eating so much chocolatey stuff and it can get abit overwhelming as well as they are really really rich... good for sharing though just to get the high from chocolate... (maybe next time will ask the ex twm girls go dinner in that area and afterwhich dessert here.. May sure onz ;p)



Endnote:
i got my bags purchased from taiwan... total of 9 bags (4 is mine, 2 is Rin's and 3 is Wendy's)... very cheap lar... costing around average $15 only... now i got 4 new bags.. (actually 6 coz i just got 2 from charles and keith using Jeanie's bdae discount... and i drag Audrey to buy things as well... haha) so is not just me who like to buy and buy and buy lar... all girls do that.. HEE... trying to self justify =)
